I used to love coming here to eat breakfast, but my last 4 visits to eat with my kids my food has not been made correctly and the ladies attending the front counter and making the food were rude. I asked for extra item and I don't get it but still get charged for it. The quality of there service has gotten very poor. I think that it's a shame that if you order something and you're willing to pay for it you should get it exactly how you want it so that you can enjoy it. Don't think I will be visiting here anymore.

This was delicious Cuban meals. Black eyed peas/white rice with onions on top,and pulled beef was Delicious. I do feel they need to get a nice hot sauce like the Jamaican Sour Tree Scotch Bonnet pepper for Those persons who like spice. There was nothing hit/spicy for your meal so it could have been more satisfying for me. Good food

I love Cuban sandwiches, and theirs was fantastic. At most places the sandwiches are premade and heated up on a press, but Plato Latino used the shredded pork straight from the fresh pan on the cafeteria line with all the juices 🤤 It was so messy and amazing. The bread was soaked with tasty goodness. I'm only disappointed that I had to wait super long to get it. There were 5 people in front of me, and they didn't start my sandwich until after all of the other orders had been finished, and it took at least 10-15 min just for mine. I wish they had started it on the press while they got the others taken care of. I highly recommend calling ahead, but even if you end up waiting in the cafe the Cuban sandwich is totally worth it.

The media noche was very good. The coconut cookies were very good. The soup was great maybe needed a tiny bit of salt but I prefer that over the salt saturated food you get everywhere these days The deviled crab had too much pepper for me however it had lots of crab and was not all breading like most places. I like a hot deviled crab with hot sauce it was just that to me the pepper over shadowed the crab. I would not tell people not to get it though because it is still better than most you find these days. I got to sample my friends food and the black beans and rice with roast pork was excellent. The pork was juicy some say under seasoned on here but I am grateful because I hate that most food outside of your house is salt saturated. The plantains were perfect. Can’t wait to try other stuff. I am Cuban and as a child saw all these foods made from scratch including live crabs that became deviled crabs so my expectations are high

John is always working hard but welcomes you from behind the counter with a smile and amazing food options. Buffet style meat and sides as well as many made to order entrees. And amazing Cuban sandwiches. They also serve great breakfast until 11:00 with The Best coffee in Tampa! Food isa little pricey but so good
