The Fish Fry

We stopped by tonight on our way through Paris. Our waitress was Hailey - she was phenomenal. Not just good, but amazing. The food was wonderful, but she made the experience memorable and is the reason we will drive out of our way to come back. Highly recommended. They are warm, friendly, and the food is tasty and super hot. Can't beat it!

The food was good. However we arrived around 815 and closed at 9. They no longer have large or small dinner for catfish. You can only get all you can eat for $19.95. You get 5 pieces of fish in the beginning. When asked for more fish they said the kitchen was closed. Seriously!! I'm not paying this much money for 5 pieces of fish. Our waitress Hannah was great! She went and told the cook they needed to cook more. It took the owner Gary getting involved and a lot of screaming in the kitchen between staff and owner. Very unprofessional!! I won't be back and it was our first time.

Based on a recommendation, I tried Fish Fry. Nothing special and quite expensive. I had all you can eat catfish. Thin slices that were cooked to a crispy complexion. No problem with service or quantity of food; just not the quality of fried catfish I get at home in Austin. Plenty of accompaniments that were tasty (fries, hush puppies, cole slaw, etc), but served as a means of limiting how much of the main course you could consume.
