Take Me Back Cafe

Came in at the end of the shift on Mother’s Day. Spoke with our waitress and asked another server for a bit. Food was awesome. Waitresses were both very attentive,even the blonde lady was happy to help us. I wish I could remember their names we were in the first booth on the right walking in. The second lady did the sweep and mop out in front. We had great service and even as they were all busy closing an exceptional time for us. Thank y’all! We will be back!

First experience was good food but they gave us wrong ticket.. then couldn't find ours so rekeyed it manually. Server and cashier was super sweet.. went back 1-2days later and ordered Brisket.. it was HORRIBLE. I am from TX so I know all about beef brisket.. when I complained the Mgr came over and said "you know I'm the smoke master right?". No, I didn't nor does it matter.. Just wow.. he admitted they reheat the brisket, said you have to, it's a complicated meat.. (which is false) anyway, they did remove the meal charge from our ticket but we won't be going back.

Found this wonderful diner while staying in Paris. Waitress was so pleasant. Never heard any employees grumbling. Everyone's breakfast was cooked perfect. Very busy place, so have some patience. I have the chocolate gravy and biscuits 😋 Restaurant was clean, not loud and everyone was exceptionally friendly! Would highly recommend!

Don’t know why we stayed. We walked in the door and the floor was littered with dirty napkins, toothpicks and other assorted items. The floor was also in a desperate need for mopping as was the wall where our table was and that was the cleanest table we could find. We were never greeted by anyone, seated ourselves, and had to ask for menus as no one approached us. I had a cheeseburger 🍔 and my wife had the ultimate grilled cheese 🧀 sandwich 🥪. They were tasty. No one came by after having the food delivered to our table. The bathroom was only slightly better than the eating area. We liked the food but would not go back. The cleanliness of this establishment is a major issue.
