This was my first ever Bo Bun and it was a joy to behold! Absolutely breath taking, and the smoked salmon spring rolls were also delicious! The owners are so welcoming and nice, you almost feel at home!
Good place to eat specialties from Vietnam, quite affordable. Unfortunately very few vegetarian options (no meat, no fish). Still, nice waiters and boss.
Walking south from cours gambetta with family for some adventurous meal we bumped into this corner vietnamese restaurant. Nicely prepared tables and large windows without the usual asian kitsch appealed us to come in and try.
There are concise a la carte options as well as their flagship menu which gives you a good variety of vietnamese dishes. From nems , dimsum soup as starter or crispy duck as main meal it was all delicious.
Service was outstanding and attentive , and prices correct.
One minor point , In terms of originality ( and those who have been in vietnam) it falls a bit short , but nevertheless it should not deviate too much from the french tastebuds to appeal clients ... Highly recommended. ,,!!
Just sooo nice! This Asian (actually Viernamnese) restaurant is a really nice one to go to for dining. It is more sophisticated, and that is what we apprciated most. The owners are friendly as hell, just really service-oriented. The food itself was a hit, we liked everything. Highly recommend this place!!!
I just want to start off by saying that the staff was extremely nice.
Now, as much as I love French food, I thought a little viet would be nice during my stay in Lyon. Its unfortunate that they have to categorize as chinese and vietnamese though to ward off skepticism of those unfamiliar to Vietnamese food. But you can definitely say this is Vietnamese.
The food was all pretty good, the mi xao looked really good and the pho was ok (European pho just isn't up to authentic standards). The portions were all a good size. It was overall just a good experience. I was able to speak to whom I presume to be the owner in Viet, with a little of bit of french. This is probably their saving grace for my review, because I started it off by giving them a 3 and now I'll give them a 4. The food for me isn't quite 4, but everything else just raised the overall rating.
Excellente cuisine traditionnelle dans un petit restaurant proche de guillotiere. Les plats sont copieux, frais et savoureux ! Le service est très chaleureux et les prix sont abordables, une belle découverte ! Le restaurant est ouvert le dimanche et vous pouvez réserver par téléphone 😊

Un de mes préférés sur Lyon. 2ème fois que je viens. Le serveur hyper agréable, souriant, chaleureux.
Les repas excellents. On sent que c frais. Sa a du goût. Et le dessert... quelle surprise! Du tapioca et de la banane tt sa servit chaud j'ai adoré

Une terrasse ombragée, un accueil agréable comme le service qui est aussi très professionnel, la cuisine y est excellente et copieuse. Un sans faute.

Perso j'ai eu un coup de cœur pour les nems au bœuf, mais tout était excellent.
Superbe découverte, petit restaurant qui vaut à mon sens le détour. Je conseille vivement la soupe Phõ qui a un parfum incroyable et de bonnes saveurs, grâce aux herbes et aromatiques notamment.

Très bel endroit pour voyager gustativement vers le Vietnam. Carte variée avec des produits de très grande qualité. Le menu à 21€ avec entrée, plat et dessert est à envisager pour une première approche. Valeur sûre dans le quartier.
Très bon moment dans ce restaurant. L'accueil est chaleureux et le personnel est à vos petits soins. Une cuisine pleine de sens et de saveurs. De l'authenticité, on se régale. Les nems, les vapeurs, les bo bun tout est fait maison....
Je suis parti mangé il y a 2 semaines et j'ai trouvé ça super bon. C'est convivial et on voit que c'est un restaurant familial. L'accueil étais super chaleureuse je recommande fortement
